Copying and pasting content on the iPhone 5 4s and 4 is a very easy thing to do but it is sometimes overlooked. The iPhone has the capabilities to copy content and images from the web and many applications. Below are the instructions and video tutorial that will show you exactly how to copy and paste using your iPhone 5, 4s or 4.

Instructions: How To Copy And Past On Your iPhone 5, 4s and 4

  1. Locate the text or image you want to copy or paste
  2. Tap and hold on the word or picture you want to copy/paste
  3. Select “Copy” to copy the word or picture
    Select “Select All” to select all the text on the page your viewing and tap “Copy”
    Drag the little blue dots around the specific area you want to copy and tap “Copy”

To Paste the text you need to tap in an area that will bring up the on screen keyboard such as an email, search box or the notes app.

4. Once the onscreen keyboard appears, tap on the search box, email or area you want to paste in and then tap “Paste”

    How do you remove a previous photo that has been cut and pasted ?? I have a pic that keeps getting attached to mail and I can’t erase it

      Have you tried holding your finger on the image and seeing if any settings pop up to delete it? I am not sure I am understanding the question fully. If you could take a screenshot for me and tweet me it @dandepenta it would be helpful.

    I have been doing as you described, but when on Facebook, it doesn’t work. Any suggestions?

      Facebook for some reason doesn’t allow cut and paste with the iPhone… Not much you can do.
