Did you know your iPhone has the ability to use LED notifications? It is’t something many iPhone users use because the setting is tucked away. The LED notifications feature uses the iPhone 5, 4s or 4s camera flash as a notification light. This works for pretty much anything that you have set up with notifications like text messages, emails or Tweets. Below is the video tutorial and instruction on how to get LED notifications on the iPhone 5, iPhone 4s and iPhone 4. Keep in mind this should work in theory with any iPhone that has a flash.

Instructions: How To Get LED Notifications iPhone 5, iPhone 4s iPhone 4

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap General
  3. Scroll down and tap Accessibility
  4. Slide LED Flash For Alerts to On

Once you have done this then all your notifications will now have the LED flash ability. See the video above to see exactly how the LED notification looks on the iPhone 5.
